I was once again invited by the top French skincare brand Guerlain to attend a skincare event held at the Grand Hyatt Taipei. It was the eve of the 2026 Lunar New Year, and the hotel lobby was decorated with bright red lanterns, creating a festive atmosph
I couldn't help but feel the festive atmosphere and happily took photos to commemorate the occasion. I hope the Year of the Horse will be a year of happiness where everything goes as I wish. I also sincerely wish every reader a wonderful journey through life in the Year of the Horse.
A strong French Romantic Atmosphere
Made me Feel like in Paris
The skincare event venue is located on the 15th floor. Upon exiting the elevator, I was greeted by a large welcome sign and Guerlain's beautiful and elegant logo. The reception area is adorned with white orchids, creating a fresh and refined atmosphere. Stepping into the venue feels like entering romantic Paris.
The venue was decorated with yellow and white flowers to complement the gold packaging of the brand's entire product line. Elegant gold chairs and white orchids created a French romantic atmosphere, and the cushions on the sofas were carefully embroidered with the brand name Guerlain, revealing the brand's dedication.
Comfortably seated in the sofa area, I freely sample perfumes and find my perfect scent. Surprisingly, the crystal-clear bottles can also be customized with customers' favorite caps.

Two Centuries of Glorious History, Favored by the French Royal Court
A giant brand book was on display, extensively recounting Guerlain's legendary history spanning nearly two centuries. I immediately realized that Guerlain was the oldest skincare brand I'd ever used. In 2024, while traveling in Paris, I was pleasantly surprised to see Guerlain's self-operated stores throughout France and its Paris office, and couldn't resist taking photos to document my visit. During my trip to Paris in 2024, I also visited Guerlain's headquarters in Paris and saw the numerous Guerlain self-operated stores throughout France.
Guerlain was founded in 1828 by Pierre-François Pascal Guerlain, who opened his first boutique on Rue de Rivoli in Paris, becoming a perfumer and skincare manufacturer. It is one of the world's oldest perfume brands. In 1853, the founder created "Eau de Cologne Impériale" for Empress Eugène of Napoleon III, becoming a royal warrant holder and establishing the brand's reputation in European courts. In 1994, Guerlain was acquired by the LVMH Group. Guerlain is renowned for its exquisite French fragrances, skincare, and makeup. Using honeycomb imagery and top-quality ingredients, its perfume bottles are meticulously crafted, crystal clear, and works of art in themselves, making them irresistible.
Suddenly it dawned on me that these exquisitely crafted, crystal-clear bottles contained perfumes beloved by Queen Eugène of France, carrying on the noble aura of the French royal court.
Skincare in a Private Room Enjoy a Complete Skincare Treatment
This skincare session was arranged in a private room, allowing me to relax undisturbed and fully enjoy the skincare and healing experience. The treatment used Guerlain's top-tier Blue Diamond Intense Plum Blossom Collection products, and the hour-and-a-half session included both face and hands. Afterwards, I felt radiant.

under Extreme Thoughtful Arrangement
After my skincare routine, I relaxed and enjoyed the hotel's meticulously prepared pastries and coffee. To my delight, I discovered a delicate butterfly perched on each pastry, adorned with yellow orchids. The butterfly symbolizes "rebirth," seemingly a subtle way of implying my skin was "rejuvenated and regained its youthful glow." I was amazed by this thoughtful attention to detail. Having attended countless skincare events for French brands, I was extremely satisfied with the afternoon tea at the Grand Hyatt Taipei.
The shimmering golden packages of the products complement the wall decorations, creating a harmonious color scheme that fills the room with joy as we welcome the festive Lunar New Year. Reclaiming these Guerlain products, my close companions on my decades-long journey to beauty, these products have protected every inch of my skin since I entered the workforce, leaving me radiant, beautiful, and radiant with a gentle, refined spirit.
After a short tea break, my beauty consultant, Ms. Yiting Huang, introduced products suitable for me.Although Guerlain is a skincare brand I've used since entering the workforce, this timeless brand is dedicated to developing anti-aging and rejuvenating skincare products, constantly innovating and introducing new offerings. I always consult my beauty consultant to find products that address my skin concerns. I receive information and samples from my beauty consultant when the latest products are launched; she plays a crucial role in my journey to beauty and rejuvenation.

Immersed in the authentic French romantic atmosphere, this skincare event made me feel like I was back in Paris. Guerlain, my skincare companion for decades, has been a part of my life, from the Abeille Royale line to the premium Orchidée Impériale, Orchidée Impériale Gold Nobile and Orchidée Impériale Black line, and even their recently launched hair care products. Some of these products are my long-time favorites and beauty secrets. In recent years, Guerlain has launched a hair care line, and I've become a fan of some products. I hope Guerlain Taiwan can introduce more hair care products and launch hair coloring products to benefit those who value hair styling like me.
